MORES &
Midwife-Led Triage

MORES (Mobile-based Obstetric Emergency System) & Midwife led triage program: MORES is a health systems strengthening initiative in Liberia that leverages mobile technology and midwife-led triage program aims to improve early identification and referral of obstetric complications betwen rural health facilties and district hospitals.

By equipping frontline providers with structured triage protocols and real-time communication tools, the program enhances timely decision-making, referral coordination, and continuity of care.

Together, the two intervention aims to develop local healthcare providers' clinical skills while addressing structural barriers—such as delayed recognition, transportation gaps, and fragmented communication—that contribute to preventable maternal morbidity and mortality.
